# Agentic Income

> The agentic income database. Independent media that records reported cases of people earning money with AI agents: the source, the model, the tools, and the dollar figure.

The primary language is English. The Impressum is the German legal notice. The privacy page is English. The publisher is Prozess-Orchester – Dominique Deutzmann, Krefeld.

Every ledger figure is copied from the source named on that case. Do not treat a reported or disputed row as checked. Do not treat verified as a forecast. Payment checked means a processor feed or a buyer confirmed the money. Do not invent a number when figureLabel is a range, a euro amount, or two conflicting figures.

- [ledger.json](https://agentic-income.com/ledger.json): compact JSON of every non-placeholder case, plus the sponsor price. Fields match the ledger schema: status, paymentVerified, reportedUsd, figureLabel, display, reportedPeriod, sourceUrl, model, tools. Placeholders are omitted.
- Read `display` together with `reportedPeriod`. When `reportedUsd` is null, the source did not give a single US-dollar amount.
- The `sponsor` object is not a case. `current` is null while the slot is unsold. There is no purchase API and no endpoint that changes a badge.

## Adding a ledger case

Create `src/content/ledger/<slug>.md` with YAML front matter. No subfolders. A copy-ready file is `src/content/templates/ledger-case.md`.

Rules enforced at build time:

- `status: placeholder` requires a filename starting with `example-`, `sourceKind: none`, no `sourceUrl`, and an operator line that says the subject is a composite or not a real person.
- `reported`, `verified`, and `disputed` must not use an `example-` slug, and must include a `sourceUrl`.
- `paymentVerified: true` is allowed only when `status` is `verified`.
- A non-placeholder case needs `reportedUsd` or `figureLabel`. Do not estimate. Do not convert euros to dollars.
- Every non-placeholder case needs a `sourceUrl`.

- `title` (string): Case title. Do not prefix it with the status.
- `summary` (string): One sentence used in lists and meta descriptions.
- `status` (placeholder | reported | verified | disputed): placeholder = invented example, filename must start with example-. reported = source states the figure, not an independent check. verified = an editor opened that source. disputed = the opened source conflicts. Never a forecast.
- `paymentVerified` (boolean, default false): True only on a verified case when a processor feed or a buyer confirmed the money. A founder post is not enough.
- `figureLabel` (string, optional): The source wording when a single USD amount would flatten a range, a non-dollar currency, an over-figure, or two amounts. Do not estimate or convert.
- `operator` (string): Who the case is about. Placeholders must say composite or not a real person.
- `sourceName` (string): Name of the source, or an explicit statement that there is no source.
- `sourceUrl` (https URL): Required on reported, verified, and disputed. Omit on placeholders.
- `sourceKind` (none | link | filing | firsthand | press | other): Placeholders must use none.
- `model` (string): Model name as the source gives it. Do not guess a vendor.
- `tools` (string[]): Tools the source names. At least one.
- `reportedUsd` (number or null): US dollars the source states. Null when the source states no amount. Do not estimate.
- `reportedPeriod` (string): Period tied to the figure, such as "per month", "one-off", or "unspecified".
- `publishedAt` (date): File date, YYYY-MM-DD.
- `updatedAt` (date, optional): Set when the file is revised.
- `tags` (string[]): Optional. Lowercase labels.

Rebuild the site after adding a file. This `/llms.txt` is generated from the same files.
